See below for a video recording of the press conference kicking off the “Super Walk” on Saturday, October 15, at the Alliance San Diego Mobilization Fund’s offices.
On this day, San Diego joined dozens of cities across the country for a nationwide voter push to promote more inclusive elections, better wages, racial justice and immigration reform. Volunteers hit the streets of San Diego to encourage friends and neighbors to vote yes on Measures K&L, which ensure that big decisions in San Diego are made when most people vote, which is in November, not in the June primary. These measures represent the biggest election reform San Diego has seen since 2010, and a critical step to give power back to voters through the ballot box.
